Birthday parties at Gymtopia Gymnastics

Gymtopia strives to make birthday parties memorable for the birthday person and their guests. Exclusive use of the full gym for 75 minutes where our trained coaches organise, challenge and coach the partygoers on the apparatus as well as providing games, warm up and allowing free time. All coaches assisting and leading the birthday parties are qualified members of staff who have lots of knowledge of all different levels of ability and experience, helping engage all different kinds of party guests who may walk through our doors; from first timers to avid gymnasts.

Parents, carers, relatives and friends can watch the birthday party through the viewing area downstairs. The gym doors will remain closed to keep the fun contained within the gym area; however, partygoers are welcome to leave and reenter anytime by informing a member of the coaching team.

When the party guests arrive they will be guided into the gym where they will meet their dedicated party host and their assistants. The coaches will introduce themselves and explain any rules and safety information they will need to follow as well as describe what will be happening during their party session.

On conclusion of the party session in the gym, gymnasts will go upstairs to their party room where they are able to spend 45 minutes. The party room is available to decorate before hand with any decorations you choose. Currently we do not offer catering options, therefore if you wish to have food and drinks you must supply your own food. We would appreciate if parents/carers disposed of any waste at the end of the party.

Additional Party Information

The birthday person will receive a Birthday t-shirt and goodie bag.

The price of the party is £250 for up to 25 children. A deposit of £125 will be taken on booking to secure the slot. Full payment must be made a minimum of 7 days before the party date. Please contact reception if you would like to discuss the possibility of more guests and additional coaches.

Any parties cancelled without 7 days notice will require full payment due to staffing costs and outlays.

The party deposit is non refundable and non transferable.

Party bookings are available during school holiday periods and weekends only.

Children must come appropriately dressed to the session: skirts and dresses are not permitted. Socks and tights cannot be worn inside the gym. All jewellery must be removed.

Adults are not participants in the session, they are allowed inside the gym for adult supervision, support and encouragement. All adults entering the gym must sign a wavier to do so.

Siblings and other children who are not included as the party guests are not permitted to enter the gym.

Participants must be a minimum of 4 years old to participate in the gym and younger children cannot enter to watch from inside the gym. It is advised that other children and siblings not part of the party are left at home to avoid disappointment.

Photography is permitted throughout the session; however, we ask that participants do not carry phones and camera equipment around the apparatus with them.

Water only is permitted into the gym and must be placed on a shelf which is located by the windows. Drinks must be drank in this area only. All outdoor footwear must be removed before entering the gym. Party guests are encouraged to bring their own water bottle for inside the gym as we discourage cups which may spill and drinks are not provided.

As per British Gymnastics rules, all participants with down syndrome within the party must have a waver signed by a doctor prior to participation. Without this signed waver, participation cannot be allowed.

Any party guests including the birthday host who may have an additional need or disability which requires further support should be made known on booking to allow all efforts to be made to be as inclusive as possible.
